until about 5 years ago, you didn't see teams lining up in the shotgun with 4-5 wide almost every play all game
10 years ago the NFL started shifting from a 3-4 to a 4-3, and now they're switching back

the issue is that baseball is finally beginning to incorporate strategy and schemes into the game and that should be encouraged

Do you think the casual fan digs innovative shifts?
Pitch clocks, eliminating shifts, etc.
All this is being done to make the game more entertaining for the casual fan.
Once again, all the baseball lovers are going to watch no matter what.
