I knew this would turn into a pissing match and that's why I stayed out of it.

As always. Some brands might carry more weight than others but as long as it's milspec it's good enough for me. I'll never be going to battle with my rifle but I don't know how anybody can knock a manufacturer that makes a product reliable enough to be used in combat.
