The supposed logic of these types of statements the last month or so continue to appear, but is rather baseless. Nothing precludes a team from recruiting great defensive players and pairing great D with any form of offense. LSU played ball control with limited scoring and it didn't help the D win games. Bama threw the ball a lot in 2014 and had a good D, and the O won them a lot of games. If Oregon actually recruited better defenders and had some quality depth they might have had a chance vs OSU. It is what you want to see.

I read through this entire post, and after each sentence I found myself saying "well that's just not true, in fact the opposite is true." It was like a work of art, congrats.
