Seahawks also had a incredibly lucky run of QBs they faced in the regular season that allowed them to get the #1 seed and home field throughout the playoffs.
The Seahawks are also 10-0 in the last 3 years against QBs who have won the Super Bowl. 3-0 vs. Aaron Rodgers, 2-0 vs. Eli Manning, 2-0 vs. Peyton Manning, 2-0 vs. Drew Brees, 1-0 vs. Tom Brady

I think the two best recent champs are the seahawks and saints (seahawks obviously better resume)
the saints got the #1 seed that year playing a slew of terrible and/or rookie and/or backup QBS (best qbs they played were ryan, brady and eli)
but in the playoffs...warner, favre, manning
the seahawks last year went through brees and manning
this year it will have to be Rodgers and Brady
if they win, it will be one of the best back to back champs ever. Last year the NFC was loaded too.

In those 3 years it is pretty well known that the Seahawks are a much better team at home than they are on the road.
They have had the luck of playing only one of those games on the road (Eli Manning's Giants who had 6 wins).
Other than that they got 8 of them at home and 1 at a neutral site.
Don't get me wrong, it is still impressive, but the luck of the draw has been on their side.
