Right, I should have said DE more than DT, but still the DE and LB positions need some depth from THIS class. And Chavis and Haley were doing a poor job!

moving forward? that's a ridiculous statement. the former staff recruited a ton of quality DL and LB in their time

Really? So you are calling Gilmore, Herron, Neal, and Bain quality recruits in those areas? Really? Funny, I thought they had been at LSU for 2 years and I see their pictures on milk cartons instead. Also, going back to the last 13 LBers signed by LSU, hard to insinuate that more than 3 really turned out to be impact players in the most generous definition....K Alexander, K Beckwith, and I'm ASSUMING the 3rd will be C Garrett. 3 out of 13 LBers...sorry, that is a poor percentage of success.

This year, we will start to find out if we have had a massive case of the busts at DL the last two years, or if Haley dropped the ball. Because from a recruiting perspective, that was considered to be a can't miss group at the time. Busts happen, but usually not in such big numbers. Then it starts to look like a coaching/development issue.

I will be pretty surprised if two of the guys on your list don't get a big boost from working under Coach O. He isn't just a recruiter.
