We used to stay at the cabin on Lake Kathleen. Usually stay in Funter Bay now, got some friends with cabins there and we can get there from Auke Bay by boat relatively quick.
South part of the Island has some huge bays (Hood, Gambier Pybus, Whitewater) that are gorgeous. Windfall Harbor is bear central, if you're into checking some of them out.

I'm definitely into checking that out. I'll be taking my 10 year old twin boys, and I'm thinking they would love that.
