I get him wanting to find a landing spot near home....and his Mom is an LSU fan. Wanted both her boys to be Tigers. If GW wants to be a Tiger, he should go do something like Met did and go to a JUCO and keep his nose clean for a few years. Then call and ask. Or he could enroll as a student and ask to walk-on after he has a clean record. As someone else said, the spots on the team are precious and he needs to prove himself to earn one. I wish him and his family the best.....hope he can get things straightened out.
