Well seeing as there's 22 positions, they do about 18-20 games per season and it's usually one of the better matchups of the week, it's not that far-fetched for something like that to happen.
But yes - to your point - Collinsworth does use hyperbole a tad bit.

jesse palmer is worse. palmer once stated on ESPN during a game that "Logan Thomas can make throws that 95% of NFL quarterbacks cannot".
