re: Lock-on or climber for public land?

Public land I would use a climber for sure. I am not setting up a lock on/sticks in the dark. Take the lower stick off will not prevent your stand from getting stolen either.

On private land lock ons all day. Quiet, consealed, and quick to get in. I cant believe how many people on here are scared of lock ons. Probably not enough room for your heater buddies and honey bun stash
