I saw this article yesterday and just don't understand how this is news. The argument about cold weather has always been whether or not you can catch a cold from being cold. The answer is no. It's been common knowledge for a long time that the cold virus spreads easier when it's cold outside because of the effect that low temperatures have on our immune systems.

No, grandma and grandpa were not right. I will not catch a cold by not bundling up. I am just more likely to.
