I wonder why everybody wants Miller and hates Golson just because he turned the ball over a lot. With the defensive starters and their backups dropping like flies, and Kelly's refusal to run the ball more, he was tasked with doing everything to win games. It was his first season after a year off as well so I think he'd be much improved. He can get over the turnover problem, as we won't ask him to do that much. I think it was more mental than anything TBH.

He has a cannon arm and I'm sure he can play from under center.

His stats from high school were

4 years
770/1236 (62.3%) 11634 yards (9.4 ypa) 151 TDs (25 as a senior in 19 quarters) 26 ints (only 2 as a senior)

2 football state titles, 1 basketball title

His production at ND in two separate years

443/745 (59.4%) 5850 yards (7.85 ypa) 41 TDs 20 ints
208 car 581 yards (2.79 ypc) 14 TDs

I say we bring in the passer with no injury history, who will be able to throw as early as May. Passing is our problem, not rushing.

However, if Miller is our only option, then I would gladly take him. He's a better passer than Jennings, more experienced than Harris, and is a dynamic playmaker.

1. I doubt Braxton will actually transfer when it's all said and done. Urban will convince him to stay.

2. Golson is a much better fit for LSU.

3. if you think Miles will let him do what he does at Ohio State.
