I had the same problem. If you annoy your wife about specifics and drive the technical data and cost factors, she will break. Examples are... What happens to those big arse holes in the wall. The in walls only go down to 100Hz, Dolby said you need at least 80 Hz to get optimum sound. If we get these cheaper (probably not) towers, we can go down to 40Hz!!! Show her pictures of absolutely beautiful towers, then do a switch a roo and get whatever you want. She will eventually say whatever and accept it.

Be prepared to buy something you don't like in the living room or whatever. It might be a pink area rug. Just man up and get those towers.
