Badass recruiter, very good Dline coach, turned usc around after taking over for kiffin, players love him, from La, tons of contacts around Nola and river parishes.
ole miss' dream teams in 08 and 09 were his teams that nutt got the credit for
U remember the 31-13 game in TS. Charles Scott and our run game netted about 20 yards because of Eds Dline.

Be Be could help us get back in with Daylon Mack and Phillips. I don't believe anyone on the DC list could. Maybe Durkin.
quote:
Ed Orgeron, Tennessee Orgeron is the only recruiter in the country to have a book written about him that focuses specifically on his recruiting ability. ("Meat Market: Inside the Smash-Mouth World of College Football Recruiting," by ESPN's Bruce Feldman, focused on a recruiting cycle at Ole Miss when Orgeron was the head coach there.) In his short time at Tennessee, he landed defensive back Janzen Jackson (Lake Charles, La./Barbe) in the last recruiting cycle and helped the Vols land a top-15 class despite the change in coaches from Phil Fulmer to Lane Kiffin. He coordinates the recruiting efforts of the Vols and is one of the top evaluators of defensive line talent in the country.
