No touching the Arkham series. The series had a copy and paste job from a different studio that's better than any other super hero game ever made.
I also vote wolverine. You certainly feel like wolverine, it's just that isn't a very nuanced experience. You still feel like wolverine, and the carnage...
But to the OP, you won't find anything remotely comparable to the Arkham series in the super hero genre. SNES, as previously mentioned, is pretty awesome
Death of Superman
X-Men: Genosha (there's actually a really cool wolverine game as well with the same artwork, etc.
Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage
Spider-Man (the cartoon game)
TMNT: Turtles in Time
