Well...the Indian Bayou trip was a bust...got to the landing at 5am and "smelled" something while putting gear in boat...the Vortex 100K mile hub had failed...damaged the spindle as well...less than 2k miles on that trailer and its been maintained...probably be tomorrow before I can get the parts... 
glad it didn't fail on the interstate...

I had always kept a spare set in my truck rapped in plastic and bearing packed. Saved me a couple times and other people too.

Spent 10 hours in the rain changing a complete axle that broke in half. After that trip, that trailer was converted over to a triaxle.
Bad thing was that there was no way of moving that boat and trailer due to size and height.
