Rankings seem to forget the facts in 2005. Miami and Nebraska were premier programs then. Most lists seem to not include Nebraska.

Also, Georgia was a bigger program in SEC. Even better than Florida. Richt was the next hot coach in college football.

Certainly we delude ourselves by ignoring other conferences. Particularly PAC10 and Big East. Washing was still considered a premier program along with Va Tech.

Also, do not ignore perennial inclusion in these lists - Notredame.
