Duck hunting is a lot more fun no doubt. It's also a lot more work (in the marsh where we hunt) I'll make about 2 or 3 duck hunts a year versus 30 or so deer hunts a year.

I love sitting alone in the woods in the peace and quiet. Watching the sun come up and listening to nature wake up all around you.

And nothing better than afternoon hunts, catching a buzz in the stand and relaxing taking it all in until just before dark when that deer comes out to feed, and BAM!! Back to the camp, fix a cocktail and talk shite while cleaning her/him up. Then sleeping in the next morning.
