No I'm far from mad. I've been reading this thread and several places have been mentioned, and I don't understand the need to do so. There are much better places to hunt in Venice than BC, people who hunt there a lot know this is true. I'm sure the only reason youre hunting Venice is because you read about how good it has been.

the reason I'm hunting venice is because I'm hunting with friends with whom I started hunting venice back in 1996. Not bc of what I read. Look, I've had some scotch tonight, I've done some manly things today: fought the fog, rain, mud, and killed some ducks. Im not in the mood for dealing with douches like you tonight. You need to get out of my thread and go back to the rant or wherever you came from.

TunaTime, what part of "public" area is so hard to comprehend? You would have really hated the good old days in Yellow Cotton Bay when you could walk from boat to boat.
Venice is not a place novices can roll up in and drop a few dekes in the first body of water they see. The tides and constantly moving sandbars alone will discourage many. This ain't Delacroix. I've fished down there since the 1980's and am a pretty decent duck hunter, and I wouldn't even attempt a duck hunt without someone along that has experience. I can contribute the nearly being swamped, socked in by the fog expertise.
