Counting Crows is worth listening to on the off chance that some of Adam Duritz's game rubs off on me. Sadly it never does. But seriously who doesn't like Mr. Jones, amiright?

Funny. I remember the first time I heard that song. I immediately thought this is a band I need to hear more of. Saw them live not long after. They were good, but were still polishing their live performance. Good musicians (they were carefully assembled actually) but just needed to get a little tighter live. I'm sure that changed pretty rapidly with touring.

Another :csb: - Pops Midnight (RIP), who was born in the late 30s, was an Elvis man, owned "records" by Bobby "Blue" Bland, Ray Charles, etc., and considered The Beatles "punks" - LOVED Mr. Jones.
