I mean, where do you even start with people who claim there is a genocide against black young men (not self imposed) in America?
That was my qualm with the Ferguson stuff, too. One, Brown was a shitty martyr. The Garner situation is way more sympathetic.
But if we're going to make it a race-based thing and not a militant law enforcement thing, then we've got to look at the other side of the coin and ask why cops look at young black males with suspicion. I also thought the #BlackLivesMatter tag line was terribly ironic considering the rate of black-on-black violence in the inner city.

Police said previously the Millers shared an ideology with militia and white supremacists that law enforcement officers were oppressors. The couple was kicked out of an encampment of supporters of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy

at you trying to split these hairs. I don't know why they were kicked out. Probably for being too extreme. However, I've also seen nearly every talking head who commented on Ferguson/Garner denounce the a-hole who killed the cops in NYC.

Liberals like EthanL,ommg, and boosie showing their true colors up in here.
Oh, and 808, the Tea Party has about 8 years of history. That movement has been more peaceful than any protest movement in history. Quit lying. You're certainly no conservative.

well yeah
I don't think any of them knew the guy was going to execute two cops.
Come to think of it, I don't know if I saw any Tea Party leaders denounce the a-hole sin Las Vegas...? Got a link for me?

there he is. Two nut jobs leave the Bundy camp and execute two cops in cold blood days later and you don't want to hear about it because it fricks up your causation/correlation argument here?
Shocker.
Shocker.

Fundamental changes will have to be made in police procedure in order for trust to be restored between cops and citizens. I figure it will have to get worse before it gets better. I don't think the police will identify doctrine that needs to be changed I think it will have to be forced on them

Yeah. I think a national dialogue on race would be awesome if possible, but one side is just going to repeat outlandish and largely inaccurate mantras, and the other is going to resent them for it.

They certainly shared beliefs with the Tea Party movement.
For the record, I didn't try to link the TP and them then, and I'm not trying to link this a-hole and the Garner stuff now, but I am curious as to how you can distinguish between the two situations.

Oh, so you're saying the politicians speaking out here in the Ferguson/Garner situation bear no responsibility for the a-hole killing the cops?
Good to know. My mistake

Well if the Bundy people/ Tea Party bore no responsibility for the Vegas murders, how can those speaking out now about Garner/Ferguson bear any responsibility for this crazy a-hole?
I'm glad the other guy brought the Vegas murders in here because I believe they are quite analogous to this current situation.
If you feel that they aren't, please expound on how they're different.
