I've never set up a nativity scene, but I've also never seen one I thought was trying to garner attention for anything other than the birth of Christ. Or any articles about people placing one in the middle of some unrelated holiday season.

First, not defending nativity scenes, but those that display them believe and worship Christ. This woman openly admits she doesn't worship satan. It's a publicity stunt and you know it.
