me and some friends went chrome chasin last weekend. i'm sure this is tiny compared to what y'all have up there but it's huge for such a small stream.

Rainbow don't thrive in warmer water, they do much better in cold, well aerated water around 55 degrees or lower. They can live in water up to 70 or so but quality trout do better in cold. It's definitely geographical and also has to do with the cleanliness of the water.

That's a nice trout you have there.
