And even longer than that. I had a close friend who was an army interpreter in Vietnam and his description of our interrogation techniques was more than chilling. He never got rid of those demons and committed suicide about ten years after he came back.

shite that never happened. Same with POWs trying to sneak messages to Hanoi Jane and then she turned them over to the NVA. Never happened.

That's assuming we didn't put NVA POWs into small rooms with stinging insects. In that case, maybe you're right.
