I had a friend (Fidel) when I was a teenager that was a bit older than me. His Dad had been a "hero of The Revolution" and fought alongside Castro. His Father named him Fidel in honor of Castro. When Fidel went "Full Soviet" and betrayed the Cuban People and doubled down on Batista's terror, his Father (and other family members) were thrown in prison and tortured. The Father was eventually executed.
I want the Cuban people's 50 year (or more) nightmare to be over. Let's hope this is somehow a step in that direction.

By enabling, enriching and legitimizing the Castros?
Unlikely. This will just make the next Junta stronger.
