whatever metric this system is using to calculate offensive efficiency is only one of about 20 indicators of overall on-field production for an entire football team.
I'm pretty sure the W-L record in the SEC the last three years is the only "metric" that means a thing. How's that looking for the highest paid staff in the country?

Contracts are being extended because they are expiring.
Which is exactly the problem...

This thread got whacked earlier. But Les is a great guy.

Highest paid assistant staff LSU pays its assistants $5.3 Mil. Bama pays theirs $5.2 Mil. Saban outearns Miles by approximately $2 Mil. I assume you can do basic math.
Frank Wilson makes $650K per year. Is he worth it?
Steve Kragthorpe makes $425 per year. Is he worth it?
Brent Grimes makes $377 per year. Is he worth it?
Adam Henry makes $300K per year. Is he worth it?
Steve Ensminger makes $310K per year. Is he worth it?
Keep in mind that every one of these coaches received a raise in pay following a year that we went undefeated in the regular season, won in Atlanta, and advanced to the BCSNG. Contract extensions are based on past performance.
Pretty sure the W-L record in the SEC the last three years is a TEAM accomplishment and not one that is the sole responsibility of the offense.

At the end of the day, this is the only stat that matters (conference and overall). This has been the long debate on here (style vs result), but W-L is it. Since 1/9/12, it's been lower than it should be.
