Partially I guess. But it's more that once you've patched into a club you've basically become family to the members of that club. You're fellow patch holders are your brothers, literally. That's not easy to just walk away from, much less walk away and join another club. It goes on in riding clubs (RC's) but is really rare for it to happen in a MC, and all but unheard of among the three piece patch MCs.

I can't wait to use this information one day and surprise the shite out of people around me with my knowledge of this.
