most threads I read where someone discusses the reality of our program people constantly bash them and tell them to support Bama.

What's wrong with wanting to compete for championships?

LSU has every quality you need to do this, yet coaching seems to be keeping us down.

It is not the "wanting LSU to do better" that people have issues with....it is the knee-jerk asinine approach that so many take that most logical people have problems with.

Do you really think the coaches DO NOT want to win championships? But sitting behind a key board providing "expert" insight after the fact with a very limited insight to the total picture is silly. You, or any other rant contributor, DO NOT KNOW MORE THAN THE COACHES--really, you don't.

The illogical connections people make and so are the illogical expectations.

The inconsistency in the comment of CLM do not lend to credibility. When we win he is lucky or because of Chavis or Cam....When we lose it is because of CLM. This built in bias tends to lessen the quality of one's comment. Give CLM the credit for all the wins and the losses---he's a big boy. Stop lessening the wins as "rent a wins". LSU probably plays one of the toughest schedules in the country--especially the past 10-years.

Stop foolishly harping on "single" plays in a game as the reason we lost a game, which goes back to the "it is all Miles' fault". For example, the 2012 Alabama game--fake FG and the Ware Cat were not the reasons we lost. We lost because we gave up a touchdown with 90-seconds left in the game. The BCSNCG rematch with Bama...the constant whining about not playing JL. It is dumb. Almost as dumb as still not being grown up enough to move on.

Wanting better is not wrong. I am 100% sure the coaches want better too, but I would put my faith in coaches to make the right decisions before I would put my faith in some of "window-lickers" of his fan base.

There is one coach that has done better than CLM in the last decade--and he ain't returning. For all his accomplishments, he is also very fortunate. He got a rematch, and he was 2 tackles away (2012 and 2014) from not creating that legacy. Things fell his way and he capitalized and he reaps the benefits; however, don't for a minute assume there is a great disparity between the two programs. Everything that program does is about creating championships--real or mythical. Perhaps, CLM's program is more about developing men who win on the field and succeed in life.
