This is so fricking stupid. The Lakers have enough room to sign another max deal guy, they just have to get rid of Jeremy Lin and his terrible 15 mil against the cap.

So Kobe being overpaid, relative to his value on the court, doesn't have anything to do with his poor supporting cast. Sure the front office didn't make great decision (his contract being a major one) but players didn't seem to be lined up to play. So limited funds and the lack of interest (which may be partially related to Kobe) lead to this.
