I've made a spiced version of yams using this beer...it was amazing.

Basically you make a reduction sauce with the beer, a ton of brown sugar,white sugar, Steen Syrup.

You parboil the yam's then bake them till finished in the oven with the reduction sauce.

Right before the yams are cooked add some chopped roasted pecans.

(I don't have the exact recipe, I am a impromtu cook in the kitchen).
