I couldn't care less if Miles gets a pay raise. I just don't think he deserves an extension at this time. Why would LSU handicap itself anymore than it already is. Miles has a huge upper hand right now against the university.

Or, you can take a chance and end up paying another coach $500,000 - $1,000,000 less than Miles and having the program tank.
That's why they have given him raises and extensions. Because his value is worth it.

How could you not care if he gets a raise? He has done nothing to be given one. Do people not understand he is already making 5 mil!? One of the highest paid in the country already! Show me a reason to offer him a DESERVED raise. All of his accomplishments so far have been rewarded, which is why he is making what he is making. The argument is that he hasn't done anything to get another. Like I already stated earlier in this thread, if he stays and turns down the job, then fine. No issue. But if he thinks that LSU should up the ante, then he's crazier than we already know.
No idea why I get caught up in this....he isn't going anywhere.
