well slight change of plans. My dad had a connection at Rattlesnake Springs and he had already done some leg work. I will be going to Rattlesnake Springs jan 9-11. Ought to be fun.
For what it's worth, Greg Simons was every bit the stand up guy that people on this board said he would be. If you need a late season hunt he may still have some dates mid-late january in South Texas. If I get to do this hunt again I will likely be using Wildlife Systems simply based on the customer service he provided. I hated to back out on him but I did not know about the details of this other ranch until after I had been in contact with him.

I would suggest either a hunt in Mexico or a South Texas Brush country hunt. This is going to be my 5th year in row of going to hunt the Brush Country in Mexico and it is an experience that you cannot really describe until you go there. A very target rich environment with hogs, javelinas, coyotes, and deer. I only bow hunt down there as well because hunting with a gun is not a challenge.
