Do you not see the very post was a starwman baiting tactic?

No...but then I have no underlying issues with Miles. I saw it as simply a short little human interest story about our coach.

We've had some in this thread already...

I'm simply saying that there's just no reason at all to immediately feel the need to come in and shite on ANYTHING positive said about the program, players, coaches, etc. And yes...it has gotten to that point on here and has been going on for a while now. If a post is not some form of crapping on the coach or program, you're called out...on a god damn LSU message board of all places. Unreal.

Look...I get that people are unhappy. As much as I appreciate the fact that LSU is still in an INCREDIBLY enviable position nationally and that ONLY LSU has won 8 or more games each season for the past 15 seasons, I still wish we were doing better. But me wishing that and feeling the need to incessantly lose my shite over it are nowhere near each other...because when I say that about the past 15 seasons I see it as a positive, not an opportunity to say something fricking idiotic like, "Well...it SHOULD have been 10+ wins!!!!!" There are tons of examples like this.

I like Miles but I love LSU football. The program has been outstanding...better than I could have ever dreamed it would be when I became a fan as a kid in the 80's. The fact that I'd like it to be EVEN better does not sour me on the very real fact that it's been nearly the best in the nation for a LONG time now. I try not to allow my wishes for the program to color just how great the reality has been.

The mileage of others clearly varies...I'm just not sure why.
