Ohio state, ND, TCU for example. I probably am just being a homer as a tiger fan, but why do so many push so hard for these such teams to make it to the NC. Especially when time and again they get demolished when playing the SEC's most talented. I'd think that they would appreciate good football when they see it in the SEC,., it all cycles and right now the SEC is at the top, but many "analyst" can't wait for us to fall.

I have news for you. The sec isn't that great anymore. Other teams and conferences have caught up.

Money talks and BS walks. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that 1/9/12 was pretty low ratings outside the deep South. The media want the Final 4 to be from all over, imo.

This playoff was contrived by the media so that they would have more to talk about. Under the BCS the CFB newscasts would be all bama, FSU, and Heisman talk. Now they have a lot of controversy.

That's why rather than accepting that in all systems to determine a champion someone is going to be left out. They just push for more teams. That way they have even more to talk about.

IMO there was nothing wrong with the bcs. Had it been in place today bama would be playing fsu and I think most would agree that those are the too 2 teams in the country.

But now we have 4 teams and now the media has more to talk about. They can talk about bama, Oregon, FSU, TCU, and the teams left out.

People have SEC burnout... Similar to teams within SEC being burnt out w Bama. Combo of everyone wanting to see a different conference succeed mixed with the need people have to have a "unique opinion" that is no longer unique.

Fact is we are closest to the NFL and have the best athletes, will continue to dominate... Deal with it

The media is there for only one reason. To sell the products on their commercials to as many people across the country as possible. The only way they can do that is to get a wide spectrum of people to watch the shows. If they told the truth the only fans watching would be from SEC states. Can't sell many commercials like that.

To be honest I'd just as soon hear they blow anyone else but Bama. I'm getting sick of that crap too.

Why do other SEC fans hate Alabama?

The answer to both questions is that folks under The Daddy, hate The Daddy.

It's like wrestling. The SEC is playing the role of the heel or the "bad" guy that kicks all the "nice" guys' asses.

As an LSU fan you have no reason to root for the SEC outside of our own team. Have you forgotten the crimes of the past few seasons?!
