re: Paris/London hotels and location

I like the Langham in London and the Lutetia in Paris. If you use the subway in each city, these are both good locations. The Langham is a few blocks from the tube and great shopping, etc. The Lutecia is in the 6th arrondisment, near a metro station, and near the Bon Marche, which is an awesome place to pick up wine, cheese, charcuterie, etc. It's also away from most of the tourist stuff.
