Bang for buck.
Looked at several a couple years ago in the ~200-270 range that were in the cookie cutter mold. Hard to deny the ability to move in to a turn key house that you can pick all the inside amenities to your liking.
They make great starter homes or even retirement homes, but you just lose all the character.
Definite trade off.
