Spurrier is a close friend of his, he wouldn't have to move as far, and he would learn from a great program leader. Would give him the tutelage he needs on his resume to be hired as a HC again in the future by a major program.

Columbia, SC > Auburn, AL, >>>>>>>>>>>>>> College Station, TX

Spurrier >> Malzahn >>>>>>>>> Sumlin

If USC offers something competitive to Auburn and TAMU, I see him going there.

It would makes sense if he were to be the coach-in-waiting at USC, obviously Spurrier isn't going to coach forever. Or is he?

But he won't win a NC at USC nor is recruiting to USC easy. The recruiting bases at Auburn and TAMU will be a lot easier for Boom. I would much prefer him going to USC than AU or TAMU but I don't feel that will be his destination.
