In my early 20s I thought recruiting would be so much fun. 
travel around the country, visiting high schools. watching grainy HS tape. kissing grandmas. complimenting on window blinds. calling 16 year olds on Sunday morning telling them that if he was playing we would not have lost the game. etc.
The older I get the more I think it would suck.
