2nd round starts tonight
Posted on 12/4/14 at 11:54 am to PortCityTiger24
Tiger has a few going tonight:
Port - Murray
MWG - Bennett
VKC - Forte, Marshall
Man, I hope Alshon sits, but that seems unlikely.
All four remaining teams look strong.
Port
Strengths:
Luck, Murray, Le'Veon, Sanders. This team is stacked.
Weakness:
Health of Julius.
VKC
Strengths:
Matt Forte and two big name wideouts.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistency of Marshall, Gates, and questionable health of recent addition, Rashad Jennings.
21JS
Strengths:
Best WR core in the conference with AJ, TY, and Maclin. Forsett is running well and Brees has 74.58 points in the last two weeks.
Weakness:
I don't trust Olsen this week, but that is nitpicking.
MWG
Strengths:
Super trio of Marshawn, Charles, and Jordy.
Weaknesses:
QB carousel and his flex is maybe the worst starter left. Stedman Bailey has done well lately, but MWG is razor thin at the flex.
I think Port and 21 go through because Port has the best team and 21's team is on fire.

Do droppings now!

Roddy missed practice again today.
I'll probably be holding out until Monday and either play Adams or Douglas.

I had the same feeling. I picked up Jordan Reed in drippings. Might roll with him. Haven't decided yet.

Droppings:
Boom - Alshon
DJ - Marshall
Thomas - Forte, Cutler, Murray
Thomas
Strengths:
Forte, DeMarco, and Antonio. This almost has to be the best trio of players in the league by default. Josh Gordon has 29 targets in the last two games. I don't care about the QB controversy and Hoyer's recent struggles.
Weaknesses:
Sanu and Gresham. This is what separates Tom's squad from a truly elite PCT team.
Cwill
Strengths:
The headliner is Bell. Ingram is very good most games. Maclin's numbers and Cobb's nose for the endzone are a good WR core. Fleener if Allen is out again.
Weaknesses:
Sanchez and Mathews do not instill confidence in me.
DJ
Strengths:
Jamaal Charles has scored 15+ in his last 7 games. TY has been a stud all year. Shady has been eating yardage lately. I like Rivers this week. I think Sunday night is a true showdown.
Weaknesses:
Mike Evans is in a very shaky offense, but he is good enough to still usually produce. Same things said before about Marshall and Olsen.
Boom
Strengths:
Aaron Rodgers. The receiving core gets a lot of volume and should get 50+ with Sanders, Kelvin, and Jeffery.
Weakness:
The running backs are bad. It looks like the backs you would see on a 2-10 team. Then again, Blount could have some major upside this week and Fred Jackson is probably back to his double digit ways, but Jackson is not being used as a much a receiver anymore, which significantly hurts his value.
I think Thomas and DJ make it through. Maybe I am biased towards my conference, but I think Port and 21 have the two best teams overall this week.

I figured you would tinker with your lineup. Douglas would probably be a good play with no Roddy.
Douglas was pissed in the locker room on Sunday when the media were standing around his stuff trying to interview Hester. He is definitely a bit of a diva.

If Rodgers has me within 30-32 heading into Monday night I'll be happy with where I stand. (unless I'm that far behind the team with Cobb)

Murray on pace for like 45 touches. Jesus. Forte should have more catches.
Also, it is weird that both conferences have Marshall and no one left has Dez.
