RG3 is a great opportunity for a struggling team. He was at his best as a rookie when they let him run wild. He sucks as a "franchise" QB who has to be protected from hits. If all you invest in him is a 4th rounder you can let him play like he did in college and not worry about it if he tears an ACL again. He's worth a gamble for a QB desperate team.

The problem is that I doubt a smart team is going to wind up taking him. He's going to wind up going to a Jacksonville or a Buffalo and he'll be doomed to fail from the start.

Meh, according to Greg Cosell (and others), he needs immediate remedial training in mechanics alone and additional work in learning how to read NFL defenses and make read progressions.

I think quite literally the only coach he could succeed under would be Chip Kelly, but Washington isn't going to trade him to a division rival.
