He's putting in way too much effort to make a few hundred bucks than I ever would.
Times must be tough this year.

Slightly trashy.
Really trashy if they have to make a big deal about it.

if he really wants to make a profit, he might wanna list those TV's on craigslist RIGHT NOW. I still doubt he'll be able to make much of anything off of them though.
no one is gonna give a crap about that TV a few days from now

No one has ever heard of those brands.
TBH. I could gift those sets and still come out pretty good. Thinking I may do that for my 2 cousins and my brother

That Panasonic is one of the worst rated TVs out in that size.
Seiki is about on par or better than that TV

I shouldn't have said anything and let him proceed with trying to scheme Discover if only to just make him waste his time and get his hopes up.

Why would you do that? I found a loophole and am taking advantage of it. What's the big deal

really trashy to put in so much effort over a few hundred bucks and then have to have the OT tell you that your first plan isn't going to work on discovery.

You are scamming the system, and it isn't ethical. So you can get away with it? Doesn't make it the right thing to do.
It is like someone getting a manufacturer's rebate, waiting for the check and then returning the item.

You really aren't though. You are not going to make much, if anything, off of this. Especially for the time and effort of it all.

I get it. I'm trash. That's why I asked. Took 30 minutes out of my day to buy them at BB on Sunday and will have nothing to show for it.
I will however have 3 . No make that 5 doorbuster deals sitting in my house without ever waiting In line. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

There are BR, Livingston and Ascension facebook pages where people buy and sell anything and everything in addition to listing stuff on craigslist.
Ebay is an option too. There are people (like me) who would prefer to never step foot into a retail store regardless of what time of year it is.

I'll make sure to post about my fortunes afterwards.

If its a true loophole, its cool. Scamming is different. I don't see why people go bananas when a company takes advantages of loopholes with the IRS and says its cool claiming "its legal, murica. Blah, blah". But if an individual does it, its trashy? "C'MON, MAN" :MNF:
