I was getting some mileage estimations for my morning runs while were at WDW and not sure if you have ever noticed or not, but the satellite images taken near Epcot that are used on mapmyrun are all taken the day of the marathon (or one of the other day races that finish along that route.
Thats the aid station (mile 24 I believe) just before you get to the Boardwalk Resort
Cones lining the course just before the Epcot fountain (mile 25.7 ish)

Garmin has an online free site called garmin connect that will track and keep all your workouts. Very easy to use and nice to see weekly mileage totals, etc.
Recently upgraded from the forerunner 405 to the 220. 220 is nice because can sync to garmin connect app via Bluetooth. The 220 does not have swipe screen technology but buttons are very easy to use.
A very good site that reviews running/swimming gps devices is dc rainmaker.com
Good luck.
