Michigan's decline under Carr, Rich Rod, and fat boy has destroyed the most bitter rivalry in college football. Sad.

I think the Iron Bowl fanbases, due to them living in the same state and both having recent success, hate each other on a more primal level. They wish ill things upon each other and not just in a sport sense.

I think that rivalry is stronger IMO.

And most people outside of the Big 10 haven't give a shite about Ohio St. and Michigan game for 20 years outside of a couple years they were both competitive.

Actually, Carr owned Cooper which ultimately got Coop fired. Carr was a great coach IMO, he just couldn't beat Tressel.
