so did I. So positive, so awesome, so sugary, so special...

Before I saw it.

I didn't heed the negative reviews...

I am not judging...if you like pointless saccharine...then that's your thing...no problem.

If you don't...then I'm warning you to read through the fluff and find the real reviews.

But...if you just want a fluffy nonsense date movie for your SO...go for it.

It wasn't anything that we haven't seen before: "The Sessions" (great movie) meets "Awakenings" meets "A Beautiful Mind", but I thought it was well directed, well acted, and worth a watch. I'm in the same boat when it comes to biopics: they're typically too schmaltzy and don't take risks. This one fell in the same boat, but had enough positives to make it worthwhile.
