I know it is frustrating to have to drive around for a parking spot when you are thirsty or hungry but you have no one but yourself to blame if you park illegally.

I have never been so tired, thirsty, or stupid that I parked illegally. I am 37 years old and have been driving since I was 15. I am actually quite diligent about where I park. Walking a few extra steps is worth not having to worry about a $300 bill to get my car out of impound.
Let's be honest. Most of the people towed by Riverside parked illegally and either failed to recognize it, were too lazy to recognize it, or knew they were parking illegally but did not think they would get towed.
