Maybe the culture is that much different 90 miles west down I-10. Maybe people in BR are not entitled assholes that park illegally from time to time. Maybe everyone there is innocent and Riverside picks on everyone.

I know from experience everytime I have towed someone they had the nerve to get upset with me because "it was not that big of a deal. I did not want to walk an extra 40 feet to the bar." Eff people like that. I do not feel sorry at all they had to find a way to the Claiborne impound lot.

The online reviews of Riverside are hysterical.

"They towed me from a place with a poorly marked no parking sign."

"They had plenty of extra spaces in the lot marked with a no parking sign."

"I did not see the no parking sign in the lot with plenty of spaces."

Here is a bit of advice. If you see prime parking spots with lots of room, it probably means something.

It's exactly what I thought - mostly people too lazy to read a sign or too lazy to make sure there is not a sign.

As far Riverside's attitude, I would probably be an a-hole too if I had to deal with tons of entitled little assholes all day yelling at me about their car being legally towed. I know I am not exactly friendly to people cursing me out when they found out they were towed for blocking my driveway.

ETA: Of course they are happy to take your money. It's a business.
