Okay, neither am I. But anything more than 8 speed will constantly be searching/hunting under load...doesn't seem like a good idea.

I see your point, but I also trust that a couple hundred engineers working in a joint venture between the two top selling truck manufacturers wouldn't create and release a transmission that would make a truck drive like shite to the layman.
