I agree with Thomas Jefferson when he said immigration is "a right which nature has given to all men, of departing from the country in which chance, not choice, has placed them." and that America should be open those people.

I also agree with Thomas Paine that the United States should be "the asylum for the persecuted lovers of civil and religious liberty."

Yeah. I have no problem with them coming in if they cannot have access to the welfare system for least 10 years of paying taxes.

Doesn't mean they should get access to our benefits or completely ignore to learn the language dominantly spoken in the US.

Would you go live in Mexico and not learn spanish? Of course not. But you're probably not ignorant either.
