Of that I have little doubt. Now, what happens when a crazy person is really being targeted? Their paranoia amps up big time. But it does not make them magically "untargeted", now does it?

I have dealt with a lot of crazies doing political work, some fighting on the same side I am. Their paranoia amps up and down on a regular basis, and usually runs out of control when they have an audience. The problem is when some people egg them on because it helps their cause.

When I was fighting the mayor on a big issue here I couldn't tell you how many phone calls and conversations I had with people giving me the "inside scoop". Of course one of the people who helped and actually got elected on his fame for helping told me about how he would help the police by tracking Al Qaeda operatives working out of mini-vans in the area. I was at least happy that only one of the two crazies helping our effort managed to get elected.
