No, because I understand the science of transmission. Anal sex increases the odds of blood borne pathogen transmission, so it only stands to reason that in a first world society where many practice safe sex that those who have more anal sex are more likely to get it.

In Africa, where nobody uses condoms (thanks, Catholic Church) and rape is rampant, women are the primary victims.

Just passing through, but this is a double shotgun statement. You say the church keeps Africans from using condoms yet I'd bet the official position is against rape, yet Africans disregard that one.

Therefore I surmise the lack of condom use has little to do with the church and more to do with the fact Africa is a very fricked up place.
