re: So that was awkward

Friday night I was at this pretty nice popular restaurant for dinner. I was in a side room adjacent to the bar. Me and GF start hearing this goat sound. Literally just like a fricking goat/lamb. baaaaa baaaaaa baaaaaa. for like 2 fricking minutes.

I was starting to laugh and assumed it was a drunk guy or kid or something at the bar area waiting on a table.

I was the only person in my section that did not have line of sight to the area where the noise was coming from. I loudly asked our waitress, "who the hell is making that goat sound"

waitress politely nods in the direction. I didn't get the hint and laughed and asked louder, NO REALLY WHERE IS THAT SOUND COMING FROM. at this points everyone in our section gets quiet and stares at me.

waitress leans in to me all tight lipped: sir it is a special needs person in the lobby.
